Connectivity: Black screen after I log into my PC

Follow these steps only if you see a completely black screen AFTER you log into your PC (if you don't see the login screen at all, try this instead

  1. Firstly pan around the screen to make sure the screen is indeed empty - for example, pan around to see if the Windows Start button is visible.
  2. If you computer is connected through a wireless network make sure you're using Windows to manage your wireless connection.
  3. Try connecting your computer to the network using an ethernet cable. 
  4. Sometimes old display drivers can cause problems. Try to update your display drivers to the latest version. Contact support@jumpdesktop.com if you don't know how to do this - we'll be happy to walk you through it.
