Backup and Restore of server lists

This article will show you how to backup your server lists for safe keeping (and sharing).

Jump stores your servers lists in a single file on your device. The file is called 'JumpDesktopServers.archive' and can be accessed from the 'File Sharing' section in iTunes.

Note: Passwords are never saved to the archive file. The archive file contains servers settings and saved user names (for SSH and Windows autologon). You will need to re-enter all passwords when restoring the file.

1) Connect your device to your PC or Mac and open up iTunes.
2) Open up the 'Apps' tab in iTunes and scroll down to the 'File Sharing' section.
3) To back your servers lists: drag and drop the 'JumpDesktopServers.archive' from iTunes to a safe place on your computer.
4) To restore your server lists: drag and drop the file from your computer and into the 'Jump Documents' section.
