Yes, Jump Desktop supports adhoc network connections. Adhoc networks are direct, router-less wireless networks. They are specially useful when you don't have a wireless router available - for example you might use and Adhoc network if you're away from home and just have your laptop and phone / tablet with you.
Here is a quick overview of how you can get this to work. You'll need to configure Jump manually. Please note though, the steps bellow assume that you've already configured your Windows PC to accept VNC or RDP connections or enabled screen sharing if you're using Mac.
