I have my rdp connection set for 2 monitors, but I can't figure out how to switch between them when connected to my Windows 7 machine.

Hi,
RDP's multi monitor option shows you both monitors at once (you won't need to switch between the monitors). If you can't see both monitors then the multi-monitor option is probably not working on your PC (we're investigating this on our end).
That said, the best way to see both monitors at once is to use Jump's screen sharing / vnc support. In screen sharing mode, you'll be able to both monitors at the same time - they'll be displayed as one big screen on your iPad / iPhone. To setup screen sharing run the configuration wizard and select the VNC option: Click Start -> Programs -> Jump Desktop -> Jump Desktop -> Options -> Configuration Wizard. Then make sure you select the Remote Desktop (VNC) option and continue the wizard to completion. Once you're done you'll see a new entry for your computer in Jump with VNC in the name. Tap it to connect.

If I follow correctly, does this mean Jump Desktop does not allow one to toggle between monitors, a la GoToMeeting?

Thats correct, Mark. Jump will either show you all monitors as one big monitor on your iPad (via the screen sharing feature), or it'll show you one big monitor and move all your apps to that monitor when you connect (this is when using windows remote desktop / rdp to connect). This way there isn't a need to 'switch' between monitors.

Hello,
i have the same problem. Dual Monitor not work under RDP.
Whenyouhavecompleted the investigation and fix this problem? I bought the IOS Version for 11,99 Euro, today, why im read under http://jumpdesktop.com/features "Multiple monitor support on Windows 7 and above." And i need this feature for RDP, it works under VNC, but with RDP i can login automaticly at windows. for this reason, i dont want use VNC for longer time!
Or its the problem with mulit-monitor support under RDP, what microsoft write: "The monitorsmust have the sameresolution andbe side by side"
Please fix this problem, RDP works very nice but without this feature. VNC works fine, but without Windows Login!
Thanks Nage

Multiple Monitors on a Windows7 machine is not working for me either. I am looking into other clients now. I think everything else about jump is the best but this is a must have feature.

Dual monitors on Windows 7 is not working for me either. How soon will it be before it is fixed? If not soon, it won't work for me and I'll request a refund from Apple.

Just bought and set up Jump Desktop on my ipad 4. Realizing it doesn't support dual screen on Windows 7, i did a google search and it brought me here. How come this problem was brought up one year ago and still not solved? Very disappointed!

Guys, we're really sorry that we haven't addressed the RDP bug as yet. We'll try to prioritize it higher in the bug list. In the mean time there is the VNC workaround as mentioned above.
Again - really sorry about not addressing this earlier.

I have been successfully using my 3-monitor setup (Windows 7 Ultimate), accessing it from my iPad 2, for over a year now, using good ol' RDP. The only problem I'm having is that sometimes, when I return home, the screens are dark, and won't respond to anything. The computer is still running. I have to reboot it. If I try Jump Desktop before rebooting, it says the RDP process is busy, try again later.
One possible complication is that I am using a DisplayLink USB adapter to run my third monitor - maybe that is screwing up my Radeon graphics board when it tries to switch back from iPad to local display.
Have you heard of anybody having this problem of the displays locking up after a remote session?

I've just paid for the iPad Apps because of the Dual Monitor support.
This is lame. How can I get a refund?
