SSH authentication types?

Information regarding SSH authentication methods and the Jump Desktop iOS app appear to be fairly sparse. Since there is no trial version available, I am performing research on the different RDP apps available for iPad and was wondering if Jump Desktop supports simultaneous password and private key authentication for SSH connections. Thanks.

Jump Desktop 4.0.5 for iOS currently supports password authentication only. Private key authentication will be added in the next major update (5.x).

I look forward to ssh keys. I would like to use jump for several systems that live behind ssh gateways that disallow password access. I have other methods now, but jump's VNC performance would be a big improvement.
