Yes. Your computer needs to be powered on and connected to the network for you to be able to access it using Jump Desktop. Please make sure your power settings are set to keep the computer on when connected to a power source. You can access power settings on Windows through the Power Options applet in the Control Panel

This is very disappointing.  I know it is possible to have a wake from sleep function, as I'm sure most of us don't want to leave our computers running 24/7.

I tested this yesterday and found that I could access my computer if I merely logged off.  Power off the screen and it will look like to the passerby like all is off, as well as being more secure.  Log off, don't power off.  Make sure the Jump icon in your shortcut bar is active before doing so. (Turning off the monitor of course all prevents others from seeing what you are doing.)

I use SSH Tunneling; it would be nice if you could SSH in, then do a WOL, then RDP or VNC to target machine.

We're looking into wake-from-sleep for a future update (this comment is for Jump 4.0.1 only for now)

@April Logging off is fine - you just need to sure your computer is powered on for now.

Any update on this comment from a couple months ago?  I love your program, but the MAJOR sticking point in my using it is the lack of wake from sleep.  PLEASE consider implementing this.

Hello Jump Support, this is a serious issue you guys should consider! I know for a fact that other software companies have implemented the option of "Wake on LAN" for computers on standby or sleep mode; this lack of option in your system leads me to use other software companies, which im using right now, because of this issue. Your software/product is great, works fine but I know it is possible to have a wake from standby/sleep function, as I'm sure most of us don't want to leave our computers running or powered on 24/7/365. PLEASE consider implementing this as soon as you possibly can, it looks like you guys are not paying much attention to this issue since the first post on this matter was around July 28, 2010 13:50 and the last post from your support team was on June 09, 2011 00:52 and obviously nothing has changed up to date, no updates resolving this important issue yet. Please work on this fix up and let us know about it, thanks!

Hello Jump Support, thanks for the quick reply, I'd like to remark that your support team is great as well, therefore you see why this product is great also, it complements with an efficient support department. Maybe there is not a definite time for a release on an update on this issue, however is there an approximate time on when this option would be available, since this subject has a long time on the table already, more than a year, thanks again!

@Rafael I'm sorry I can't comment on an exact release date but this is the top most item on our todo list at the moment - this will be done soon. We're planning on rolling this out in two stages: the first stage will add WOL support for manual / local area connections and the next stage will add support for automatic connections. You'll should see part of this feature in our upcoming Jump Desktop Viewer for Mac release followed by out next major iOS update to Jump.

Any updates on the Wake on Lan feature?  The last comment from Support was in February.
