To get up you and running quickly we’ll use Jump Desktop’s automatic configuration wizard to configure your computer, and use your Google account to connect to your Mac.

Note for OS X 10.4 users: 10.4 users should follow the manual configuration guide.
Using Windows? Try the Windows Quick Start Guide instead.

1. Download and install Jump Desktop for Mac OS X

Important: Make sure you enter your full email address (including the @gmail.com suffix).

If screen sharing isn't already enabled on your Mac, you'll be prompted to start screen sharing. Make sure you press the Yes button and set a VNC password.

After a brief wait, the Jump Desktop icon will turn black. This means you're online. If there was a problem with your Google account information, you will be prompted to re-enter it.

3. Configure Jump Desktop on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch

?name=media_1290120182697.png

Open Jump on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. Tap the Settings button on the top left hand corner of the screen, then tap the Email row and enter the same Gmail account information you used on your Mac.

4. Connect

?name=IMG_1358.png

Now, go back to the main Jump screen and you'll see your Mac's name listed there. Tap it to connect. You'll be prompted for your VNC Password. Use the same password you entered in the prior steps.

@John You might need to turn of Remote Administration - Jump 4.0, which was released April 27th should notify you on what to do. Also, for more information take a look at this help article: http://support.jumpdesktop.com/entries/434062

@BO The best way to get quick help is to open up a support ticket by emailing: support@jumpdesktop.com  someone from support will guide you with your iPad 2 installation. If you've got it working on your iPhone, then getting it to work on the iPad 2 should be easy - I suspect you just need to enter your gmail address into the 'Automatic Setup' section of Jump's settings on your iPad 2.

I have submitted a support ticket but no reply #4970 and judging by the interaction here I won't receive a reply to this but we live in hope.

Basically using Lion on a MacBookPro and I am getting the Mac Credentials prompt and I cannot connect.
