@Sebastian: Fluid doesn't open up any listening ports at the moment. You can't connect to it using a manual connection via an IP address - instead, you'll have to make sure Jump Desktop Connect is running on the remote machine and you're logged into your Jump Desktop account: https://jumpdesktop.com/go . Also - Fluid will automatically find it's way through your router - you don't need to configure additional networking. If you have trouble connecting over Fluid please let us know.

This looks great ... would love to try it out. However I'm still on Jump Desktop 5.0.2 for mac as that's the one in the Apple Store. How do we go about getting onto version 6 please?

Is Fluid always going to need a console session to work?

@Chris, we already submitted JD 6.0 to Apple on Sept 5th. Apple is still reviewing the update. We'll release is as soon as Apple is done.

Jason is right, if you guys think doing the feature idea will help organization and managmmana then by all means do it. But it needs to be checked more consistently. The resolution change was something that was also supposed to be right around the corner but hasn't surfaced yet from what I can see.

    Hi Felix,

Thanks. For some reason the script did not work for me. Even after disabling SIP and executing the script as a root user. Then I managed to get a 1194x834 custom resolution to work via SwitchResX. It does cost 14 euros (after a 10 day trial) but it seems to do the job.

But in order to have HiDPI to work, I had to connect via VNC and not Fluid. And under settings I needed to set the quality to "Very High (Retina Quality)"

After using it from my Mac and iOS and being a devoted fan, I installed Jump for a client to access their server from home - great on the smart phone, but on the windows machine it is a problem - using Fluid for the first time. he reports he can view but can't click on anything.

So I have tried it on another PC to a PC using fluid and I can click fine, but the screen is completely blank from the machine I'm remoting from (have to peer over the desk to see where I'm clicking on the host = not very good once you leave the room). so what's up? is it fluid? is it some known problem? something to do with having the TightVNC link going too?

    Hello,

We are solution provider based on mini PC for replace VDI for some customer who doesn't want to pay virtualization solutions. you can check out our website http://www.NUCserver.com

We been looking for high performance remote desktop solutions which can replace RDP and Windows Terminal Service because of license issues.

I think Fluid is most closed solution to our needs (Frankly speaking, PCoIP is best but expensive)

At this moment, Fluid not support sound yet.

Please let me know when can you release new version of Fluid which support sound and USB redirection  & Fluid client for Android device.

We are using android 7.0 or higher version supported TVbox based client machine.

So, It's been a year now since I was made a "beta tester" and there's still no fluid 2.0 beta to test. Audio implementation is still a no go. Is there any sort of timeline or progress update for this?

So why does JumpConnect need to access neuron.jumpdesktop.com? Not sure why a change in remote protocol requires accessing servers on the internet.

Same question as the poster above - Audio support for Fluid would literally change my life in so many ways. Help!

    @Jump Desktop Support:

At the beginning of this thread it states: "Clipboard Sharing: Copy/paste stuff from/to the local system."

I am unable to get this to work with files (it does work with copied text). I have made sure both ends are running the latest version, and I have also tried enabling "Windows Shortcuts" just in case that made a difference (but it does not). Running Windows 10 on both ends.

How do I get this to work?

    Its really "funny" right?

Fluid seems to be great, but without Audio its use-cases are very limited... No Video, no Gaming and so on.

Will Audio ever be implemented? Doesnt look like this... :-(

I can only use Fluid remote, i think it's awesome! while i tried so many remote desktop software, only jump desktop meets my need ! i already bought it from app store without any doubt!

please allow me to provide some feedback:

    1. since my mac and PC  in same local WLAN 1000M bps , the band width is not a problem, can the frame rate increse to 60 fps?

    2. loofking forward the big screen resolution support, as you said , it's working in the test, maybe i can join the private test :)

Turned fluid on because for some reason RDP is not available.  Works great.  Would love to see network sharing in the future as well.

@MichaelSzebenyi Jump Desktop Connect runs as a service by default and you should be able to log in via Fluid and RDP after a fresh boot when no users are logged in. If Fluid isn't working after boot let us know by emailing support@jumpdesktop.com and let them know which version of Windows you're using.
