RDP: Terminal Services Licensing error: "The RDP server closed the connection. Code: 0x100"

Terminal Services users may see an error the following error while trying to log into their server: "The RDP server closed the connection. Code: 0x100"

Error Code 0x100 maps to:

ERRINFO_LICENSE_INTERNAL 0x00000100 : "An internal error has occurred in the Terminal Services licensing component."

This may mean that there is an error obtaining a terminal services license from the TS licensing server. Make sure you have enough licenses on the machine and that your licensing server is configured correctly. 

One user reported that changing their TS licensing from per-device to per-user fixed their issue.
