Can I use my home microphone to use talk on chat client on remote desktop
PlannedConnecting to work desktop (RDP I believe) using Jump on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.3.
I can hear the sound from my windows desktop that I am connecting to, but would like to be able to use work messaging client (Skype for Business) from home. Does Jump allow this functionality?
Thanks

Hi - Jump currently doesn't support microphone redirection. We might add this in a future update.

@Jump Desktop Support, are you serious? Why this simple and so necessary thing does not work? I've bought this app to connect to my work windows desktop to talk to my clients and I can't use microphone. Please add this feature asap! We need microphone redirection a lot. What is the status? I really can't use this app and I'd never bought it if I knew that it does not work...

Like so many, I'm now working from home, and teleconferencing with co-workers throughout the day. Jump Desktop is my favorite, most reliable way to connect over VPN to my office workstation. But... when it comes time for a telecon, I have to disconnect Jump Desktop and connect with Microsoft Remote Desktop (and hope the screen doesn't freeze too quickly.)
Microphone passthrough is the only thing I miss with Jump Desktop, and it's become a key feature. I hope you guys can figure out a way to implement it soon!
Thanks.

Hello,
I am also another user that is shocked that Jump Desktop doesn't support microphone redirection. This is one of the reasons i purchased this tool and its not even an option. Please add this functionality, if i need to do a confrence i have to disconnect and reconnect with Microsoft RDP. Defeating the sole purpose of purchasing this product.

@Jump Desktop Support
No microphone support? Really??
I just got this RDP app yesterday to simplify connections on my macbook pro (macOS Catalina 10.15.5) and on first conference call - no mic redirection from a Windows 10 box. Audio redirection is working though.
You guys really have to get this added to product. I don't see how this is NOT a high priority.

Really disappointed that Jump Desktop does not support microphone re-direction. In a time where a lot of people are currently working from home, remote desktop software is a vital tool many rely on to continue working. I really liked Jump Desktop, it seems fast, and more reliable than the Microsoft Remote Desktop client, but without microphone redirection I am unable to use it for work, as I need to be able to take calls using Microsoft Teams, and this makes that impossible. I am glad I only installed the free trial of this software, and certainly won't be buying a full licence.

Just bought the Ipad version and can't use my AirPods as a mic. Is this still not supported? If not, that's a bummer and I might have to seek a refund. I want to be able to work remotely and use Microsoft Teams to be able to share my screen while I speak with my colleagues at the same time. That works fine using windows rdp
