Animations cause freezing
I often use Fluid over the Internet. It works well on Windows, but on Mac/Linux it is very laggy.
Right now, everytime there is a big animation, the image freezes for a good 5-10 seconds.
Windows 10 allows us to disable all animations, this is why it works almost flawlessly. Unfortunately Mac's 'reduce motion'-feature doesn't completely remove animations - it just replaces them with fade-effect.
If you could somehow disable(or simply not transmit) animations, it would make remote-sessions over slow connections alot more bearable.
Fluid should, when it detects a high amount of movement, simply stop sending updates for a short period of time.
