Issue connect to Windows 7 machine from android client

I am unable to connect to a specific Windows 7 machine from my android phone, when attempting to connect it prompts asking for credentials but after entering these it just asks for them again. I have managed to connect to the same machine from an iPad using the same creditentials. Any ideas of thoughts would be appreciated.
