Windows Server 2016 remote to Mac
AnsweredI'm having a hard time trying to determine if Jump Desktop is what I'm looking for. I have a Mac Pro that I would like to be able to connect to from my Windows Desktop that I run Windows Server 2016 on. I also want something runs smoother and faster than the built in VNC with Mac OS. Can I setup Fluid (which seems to be the smoother/faster option) to accept unattended remote connections using a client from a Windows Server 2016 system? Also do I need to purchase Jump Desktop from the App store for $29.99 to be able to install and use Fluid desktop?

Yes, Jump Desktop will work for you.
1. The current Windows release is free for any use. Visit https://jumpdesktop.com and click the "Get It for Windows" link.
2. On your Mac install Jump Desktop Connect from here: https://jumpdesktop.com/go . This is also a free download.
3. You don't need to buy the Mac App Store version of Jump. You'll only need to purchase this if you want to connect FROM your Mac to other computers.
