Cannot exit fullscreen on Jump for Android

Using Jump for Android on Samsung Chromebook Pro.

After hitting the Fullscreen button on keyboard, Jump enters fullscreen mode without the task bar on the side. Hitting the button does not bring the task bar back. I can slide from the edge to reveal but it auto-hides again, although auto-hide is disabled. Full screen mode works normally at the menu, it's only broken during remote desktop sessions. Is there a way to get my bar back?
