Desktop Crashes every time

I have desktop 8.4.27 installed on a windows 11 (22621.963) machine.  When I start the desktop app, it comes up and I can see my list of clients to connect to.

When I click on one of the clients (also windows 11 and same build, completely different type of PC and hardware), it brings up the credentials window like it wants me to log in and about 2 seconds later it will crash and goes away.  I've tried removing and reinstalling desktop multiple times, but nothing changes it.  I tried another remote client as well and the same thing happens, so it appears to be on the desktop/host side, not the client.

Not sure what to check at this point.  Any ideas?
