multiple monitors

I am about to start a job using Jump desktop, I have never used this software before. the job involves me working from home and remoting a computer in another state. To work I use 3 monitors. Do i need the computer in the other location to have 3 monitors connected to it as well as the 3 monitors in my home location? or is there a way to only have 3 monitors at my home location and no monitors on the machine in the other state, thereby saving me the cost of 3 extra monitors?
