Windows Ctrl shift right opens up additional virtual screens in multi-screen mode

I have set up Displays > Virtual displays > same as as this PC. I get 3 screens instead of 2 which I want which isnt an issue however when I type and want to highlight text using ctrl shift right-arrow, the 3rd screen pops up. Have to keep closing it. I have already tried fixing the keyboard shortscuts in the "keyboard and mouse settings" page on JD to stop "cycle remote desktops" but that doesnt fix it. is it a bug or do I need to change something else?
