    Jump Desktop Support

Jump Desktop for Windows currently doesn't support VNC. We've released Fluid support which we think is a much better alternative than VNC and it works with Macs and Windows. Does this help? Which specific scenario are you interested in?

    Hi,

Just wanted to note that Fluid is a great alternative for certain use cases.  However, it would be great to be able to add manual VNC and RDP connections for those situations where you cannot run the jump desktop connector on the remote computer.

    Thanks!

    Dear Developer,

another reason might be, that the user (like myself) doesn't want to install a third party server (that's what Jump Desktop Connect actually is) on his computer. Especialliy since macOS already has a VNC server built in - screen sharing.

I use Jump Desktop for Android (phone) to connect to my Mac at home - and it works perfect. Brilliant. It's by far the best VNC client for Android I've come across.

I also own a Windows tablet from which I'd like to access the Mac's built in screen sharing. Sure, there's Remotix - but it's really a pita. It's even easier to control the Mac from the little phone with Jump Desktop for Android. Still it'd be nice to be able to use the Windows tablet the same way and with the same ease.

I'd be really, really glad to see the same functionality as in Jump Desktop for Android in the Windows version of Jump Desktop.

Please - if possible - port Jump Desktop for Android to Windows. It would sure be the best VNC client for Windows around.

    Best regards,
    Ture

Does anyone know if this is still the case?

I use Jump Desktop (for the Mac) as a generic VNC client -- to connect mostly to Linux machines.  I don't care about RDP/Fluent/installing the jump desktop server / whatever.

Thus, if there's no VNC support for Windows, then I can't use it -- which is why I don't use it on Windows.
