Is there a way to set resolution?
It seems that Jump Desktop is configured for a resolution that is lower than that of my desktop. As a result, logging in remotely from my phone causes all of the icons on my desktop to be shifted around.
Other remote desktop apps I've used in the past, though much more complicated to set up, had the ability to change the resolution of the program, so that it matched my desktop, and therefore caused no issues with my desktop.
Does such a feature exist in Jump Desktop, or will I just have to resign to the fact that I'll need to move all my icons back into place every time after using the app?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Yes - you can change the connection resolution. Try this:
- Open up Jump on your device and tap the icon to the right of your computer's name (this will be a blue icon on iOS and a settings icon on Android).
- Then edit the display row. Set it to a resolution that matches the resolution of your computer.
Note for other readers: DChow is connecting using a 'windows remote desktop' connection (i.e. RDP). RDP connections give you the ability to specify a screen resolution. 'Screen sharing' or 'VNC' connections automatically match the resolution of your display. You won't see the 'display' option for VNC connections. -
Thanks for the response. I was able to do that, but my desktop resolution is 1920x1080, and this doesn't seem to exist in Jump. I tried to manually enter it, but it appears that's not a possibility, so my icons are still being shifted, albeit to a lesser degree.
Am I missing the option to set it to my native resolution somewhere?

Dan,
You should be able to this: You can set custom resolution parameters by tapping the Width and Height fields and manually entering a resolution of your choice.
Note for Android users only: Jump Android version 2.0.4 on the App Market currently doesn't have the ability to specify custom resolutions. The upcoming 2.6 update is going to fix this.
