Jump on iPad 2 sometimes fails to launch at all
I've loaded the Jump app on one of our Doctor's iPad 2. Had it configured for RDP and was working fine for a few weeks then suddenly the app refuses to launch from the home screen. When you click on the app to launch, the screen dims for half a second then.... nothing happens. I tried restarting the tablet however that had no effect. The only way to get it working was to delete the app and reinstall it. This means I had to re-setup all of her connections so she could connect to our EMR. This has happened twice now, several weeks apart. I cannot find any error messages or logs of anykind, so I cannot relay anything other than a description of the issue. I'm getting some flak for this because the Doctor's must be able to reliably connect to the EMR without my intervention.
This has only happened to 1 of the 4 iPads we currently use.
Has anyone experienced similar issues? If so, how did you resolve?

Pasting my response from your ticket:
Hi Chris,
This isn't a known issue. From what you've describe, it actually sounds like there might be something wrong with that specific iPad. At the most I'd expect Jump to startup with an empty server list - but it should start up.
1. Does the iPad have similar problems with other apps? You might want to get the iPad checked out by Apple.
2. Tip: You can backup the connections by saving the "JumpDesktopServers.archive" file: Connect the iPad to your PC / Mac and open up iTunes. You should be able to see this file listed in the files tab in iTunes. This way you can save / restore connections fairly quickly.
