Leo, do you mean that "Problem with VNC server" message has not gone away?

If 'Problem with VNC server' is still there, please try the following steps:

1- Click on the 'Fix it' button

2- Jump Desktop Configuration Wizard should appear

3- In 'Choose a way to access your PC' select 'Remote Desktop (VNC)'

4- Follow the rest of the prompts

Once the wizard is finished, 'Problem with VNC server' message should disappear.

If you still have problem in connecting with your computer, please feel free to post question.

I am having the same issue. Just downloaded and installed but every time I try to use it the Jump Desktop the splash screen pops up saying "problem with VNC server" I click fix it and go through all the steps but it just goes back to problem screen with the fix it button.

I am having the same problem.  connect to windows 7 fine, but my windows 8 computer is the one with this problem.  I can use my windows 8 computer to connect to the 7 computer but can connect in reverse.  also can connect to windows 7 comp from phone but not the windows 8.  I tried RDP and my phone see's the computer but won't connect that way either.  I check firewall settings and believe I got everything checked but still not working.

@Jeremy, @Jason: Are you running third party firewalls or security programs? If so can you please try to temporarily disable it? This usually happens when a security program blocks Jump's attempt to connect to the RDP or VNC server via the loopback connect (127.0.0.1). You might also want to check your firewall logs to see if any connection attempts have been denied during the time you try to connect.

@Jeremy - we're investigating this and we'll have a fix for it very soon. Are you on Windows XP by any chance? We've had reports that Windows XP installations for the new VNC server are failing. We're working on this right now.

@Jeremy - this might actually be another unreleated issue. Can you please check to make sure you see 'V' icon on your desktop's like this: http://grab.by/mhH6 ?

I have the same issue and have removed it from the computer and reinstalled it again and the same thing happens.  Everytime you go through the prompts to "fix it", the screen stays the same.  Very frustrating!
