Anyone able to get passed the 'starting services' part of the install on Windows 8 Preview?

Hi,
To get the installer running on Windows 8 CP you'll need to enable Windows 8's .NET Framework 3.5 feature:
- On your Windows 8 PC open up the Settings app.
- Click on Programs and Features.
- Click on Turn Windows Features on or off.
- Enable the .Net Framework 3.5 (includes .Net 2.0 and 3.0) feature and press Ok and wait for the feature to be installed.
Important Note: Once the Jump Desktop Configuration Wizard starts please be sure to select the Remote Desktop (VNC) option. We are currently investigating an issue with the Windows Remote Desktop feature.Let me know if you have trouble with this. -

@Christopher Can you please create a ticket by emailing support@jumpdesktop.com ? Just request access to the beta and you'll be given further instructions. Please note though: You might have to wait to be accepted since we're in the middle of beta releases.

Some folks have reported problems installing the Jump Desktop Installer on Windows 8. The installer requires .NET 3.5 and although Windows 8 should prompt you automatically to install .NET 3.5 there might be some cases where it may not. In that case you can turn on .NET 3.5 manually in the control panel using these instructions: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-ca/library/hh506443.aspx . Please take a look at this section: Enabling the .NET Framework 3.5 in Control Panel
