how to turn on background in Remote Desktop on server 2012

Microsoft suggests that in order to display backgrounds on a Remote Desktop session on a server 2012 box I need to adjust something on the client end. There is no setting for this in Jump. I have no problems in 2008 R2 but I can't see desktop backgrounds in server 2012.

  This worked great for iOS, but not the mac version.  Is there a similar setting on the mac version to show my background?

  @MIchelle, if you're connecting to Windows Server box using RDP then on the Mac right click your connection and then click Edit, then Performance -> Wallpaper.
