Windows 8.1 Preview
Cannot connect after upgrade to Windows 8.1 Preview. Uninstalled/reinstalled, tried compatibility settings for Win7 and Win8, no luck. Tray icon mouseover displays "There was an error connecting"
Jump Support Response: This issue is no longer present on Windows 8.1 RTM (see below for details)

Hi Brian,
We're looking into this. The preview release seems to have broken networking in a bad way. We've noticed a few other apps having trouble connecting to websites (including Chrome when downloading secure content). We don't recommend installing the Preview release on production systems.
That said - we're looking into this right now.

Just an update on this: Looks like this issue has been fixed in the final Windows 8.1 release. We've re-tested Jump Desktop with Windows 8.1 RTM and so far haven't found any issues with RDP or VNC.
One caveat: .NET 3.5 needs to be installed on Windows 8.1 prior to installing Jump Desktop. We'll be releasing a new installer that'll address the issue - in the meantime please take a look at this link on how to enable .NET 3.5 on Windows 8.1: http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1147872-howto-install-net-35-in-windows-81/
