How do I set up Jump on iPad 2 to access Asus PC?

I need to use my iPad to access a program on my Asus laptop (Asus will be left at home, iPad taken with me in the field). 

Do I download Jump for Mac on iPad?

Do I need to download anything on my Asus?

Please, in simple terms, help me?
