Can you connect mac to mac?

Recently purchased a mac to replace my office pc.  Was connecting to my pc from my home mac with Jump desktop with no issues.  Since getting the office mac, I've only been able to log in once. What is so different in the set up process?  Is it easier than it appears?

  Hi there,

  Connecting to the Mac should be no different. On the Mac at the office visit http://jumpdesktop.com/go and follow the setup instructions there. Once you're done please also make sure you set the 'Energy Saver' preferences on your office Mac. Make sure 'Computer sleep' is set to 'Never'. 

  Thats it - you should be able to connect from home.

  I purchased the app, but it leads me to another purchase - do I have to buy it twice?

  Hi. No you don't need to buy it twice. Can you tell me what you're connecting FROM and TO? On the computer you are connecting TO, simply download and install the free Jump Desktop Connect app from here: https://jumpdesktop.com/go (this app is free).
