open remote desktop on secondary monitor only

The remote host monitor and the secondary monitor on the viewing administrator are the same make and set on the same resolution. I am hoping with the resolutions the same on both monitors the icons will not get rearranged on the remote PC. The Mac primary is the retina screen and messes up the desktop icons on the remote computer. I have tried every setting and resolution in Jump settings.
