    Hi,

What exactly are you looking for? Incoming connections to the computer? If so, the new Jump Desktop Connect app logs incoming connection requests:

    1. On Windows: Open up the Event Viewer and then look in the "Applications" event logs with source = "Jump Desktop Connect".

    2. On a Mac: Open up /Library/Logs/Jump Desktop/access.log

    Thanks

Marco, are you checking on the PC? Have you opened up the Event Viewer?

Is there any way to have Jump Desktop show a disconnection in the log as well as a connection?
The Jump Desktop log only seems to log a connection and not a disconnection and uses a '0' event log ID.

@Caroline - thats a good suggestion. We'll add logging of disconnects too.

@Caroline - actually I just checked with the devs. This has already been implemented in Jump Desktop Connect 6.0.

6.0 also logs more details about the incoming connection (associated public IP address, device id and Jump Desktop account email). It will also log a "Connection closing" message when the connection terminates.

If you want to try out 6.0: Open up Jump Desktop Connect, click the settings icon and then click 'Updates' and check the 'Beta Updates' checkbox and then click 'Check for updates'.

We'll be rolling out 6.0 via automatic updates for existing customers over the next couple of weeks.

Hi - that will be great to see when it does and it should be easy enough to include those comments when I run logs.
