Use both Email and Gmail accounts

On my iPad I can choose one account to use, whether my Gmail account, or my Email account. I'd like to use both as this would give me visibility to see my personal Macs to control (Gmail) and my families that I assist with (other Email). Currently I have to switch back and forth (sign out of one and into the other). Is there a way to setup so both are active?
