Major lag when monitor is off

I have a problem with my server and don't know how to setup Jump Desktop to deal with it. My server is plugged into my A/V receiver which uses my television as the video display. When the television is on and the receiver set to PC, everything is fine. When the receiver is not on PC (television on or off), there is a major lag. I can "load" several commands or clicks, disconnect and reconnect and my instructions have been executed. If I wait to watch them happen, it can take 3-4 minutes for the video I am seeing to catch up. This happens on network and remotely. Is there someway to setup Jump Desktop that will eliminate this lag so I don't have to keep disconnecting and reconnecting to carry out remote tasks? Thanks.
