After using Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to update 10586, Jump Desktop Connect doesn't work - Host Address IP address method still works.
Some people are having difficulty installing the update, Windows 10 Home, Version 1511, 10586.
Windows update wasn't working, so I used Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to upgrade.
The upgrade worked, but now, Jump Desktop Connect doesn't work.
I launch the Jump Desktop Configuration Wizard, and I get to “Ready to jump!”
“Your computer has been configured for remote access “.
However, touching the “Jeff415-PC secure screen sharing” doesn’t work.
It stays on “connecting”.
I separately run a TightVNC server, and use JumpVNC’s Host Address IP address method.
That still works.
I’ll just stick with the IP address method for now; they both work the same to me.
