Microphone pass through?
I am looking for a less expensive solution for microphone pass-through from one Mac to another Mac remotely. Currently, I am using splashtop, but that does not allow the built-in dictation app on Mac OS (Ventura) to pass through to create text on the remote machine. (I've been using Dragon naturally speaking, which is now nearly 4 years out of date and will not work on a newer Mac, but still functions through Splashtop). I thought I understood that your "Fluid" app would allow this, but I believe I have everything selected and turned on at both ends, along with the proper authorizations in the security section and a restart at both ends (jump disconnect on the target computer and jump desktop on the initiating side) but there is no received audio at the targeted computer. I'm on a 2 week trial, and it's my only interest in your software, any ideas about whether or not this is actually workable? Thanks.

Hi Dana, Thank you for reaching out to us.
Jump Desktop supports microphone redirections when connecting over Fluid connection from Mac to Mac.
Please make sure that you are connecting to the host Mac through Fluid connection. After, to get started with microphone redirection:
- Make sure you're connecting from a Mac
- After you connect click Remote -> Audio -> Send Audio and select a local device to start recording from.
- On the remote / host Mac, the audio will play on the Jump Desktop Microphone device.
Please let me know if it helps.
Best Regards,
Abdul Ghani
