Stuck on the windows credentials tab (correct password)

I am trying to remote from my iPad into my PC (win11) but I am stuck on the Windows credentials tab. I am very sure I used the correct password (the same password I use to log in to my PC) and the username is the same as the one in the diagnostics. The "Windows credentials" keep popping up after I enter the correct details.

note: I have updated everything to the latest version.
