Jump desktop connect for iPad Air

I am new to this program and I've been reading about jumpdesktop connect, there is limited information on how to download and install for IPad Air. I read that I would have to buy a program to open the zip files in order to download jump desktop. Am I correct.

  Thats incorrect. Jump Desktop Connect needs to be installed on the computer you want to remotely access:

  1. Jump Desktop Connect should be downloaded and installed on the computer you want to remotely access. It is a free download. On the computer you want to remotely access,  open up a web browser and visit https://jumpdesktop.com/go and install Jump Desktop Connect.
  2. On your iPad Air, open up the App Store and make sure you have the Jump Desktop app installed. Here's the link: Jump Desktop on the App Store
