    Jump Desktop Support (Edited )

    Hi there,

    Sorry you're having trouble:

    1. We released a new update to Jump Desktop Connect that removes support for the old PC Viewer completely.

    2. The new PC Viewer (aka Jump Desktop for PC) currently doesn't support RDP. We're about to release a new update that will introduce RDP support.

    3. In the meantime, you can access your machines from the new PC Viewer by enabling Fluid Remote Desktop in Jump Desktop Connect. Just connect to the remote machine using iOS and then follow these steps: https://jumpdesktop.com/getfluid

Apologies for the trouble but if you bear with us for a bit, you'll have RDP support back in the PC viewer very soon.

That worked. Not perfect, but at least I'm no longer twisting in the wind. Thanks.

There actually is full clipboard sync support. Are you connecting PC to PC?

Yup. Can't find any settings that enable clipboard.

Connect is ver 4.9.8 and the blog on the Fluid says your Connect needs to be 5.0 or later... it's working, but when I go to the 'update' tab and it says the 'software is up to date'

    1. Clipboard should be enabled by default. Which app are your copy pasting from / to ?

    2. Not sure why Norton is flagging it. Here are the Virusscan.net results for the file:

I didn't actually think there was anything wrong with the file. Just lettin' ya know.

I can't copy/paste anything at all FROM Fluid TO anywhere else, or copy FROM anywhere else TO Fluid. It was working fine until the Connect update blew me out on JD. So for now I am EMAILING anything I need to get to/from. Very kludge-y.

    1.  4.9.8 automatic updates: We're actually in the process of slowly rolling out the updates so it might take us a couple more days to release full via the auto update mechanism. If you want to download the latest release, visit https://jumpdesktop.com/go and please download from there - it has the latest version posted there (5.0.68).
    2. Regarding copy paste: This might be a Jump Desktop for Windows issue - we're releasing an update soon for the PC Viewer. That said - can you please try to connect via Fluid on your iOS device and see if copy pasting works correctly just so that it'll help us make sure it's not an issue with Fluid itself?

    Thanks!

Thought I was going nuts regarding the old viewer.  Thanks for the clarification.  I find that remote printing is broken in Fluid across the board (ios/windows/android)...I too am having issues with copy and past in Fluid as well

    Thanks in advance
