When laptop lid is closed, I can SSH in but cannot use Jump to sign in

I have a 14” mbpro m1, and am using an 11” iPad Pro as the remote client. When my laptop lid is closed and it’s connected to power with caffeinate running, I can SSH in but cannot sign in with Jump. Is there any solution to this?

    I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're facing with Jump.
    For us to be more efficient in resolving this issue, please submit a support request and include the Jump logs from your iPad. 
    Please reproduce the problem and send over your logs by going back to the Jump Desktop main screen and tapping the gear icon on the top Left hand corner, and then tap the contact support button and send the logs over.

    Hi I seem to be having the same problem.

    I have recently purchased my new M3 MBA and cannot access the macbook via Jump Desktop when the lid is closed.

    More specifically, it works when the lid is open and computer is on, but as I close it, it loses access to the monitor.

    More specifically, when the computer lid is closed and I log into it, I succeed but get kicked out in a few seconds.

    Hi Siegried, 

    Are you also connecting from an iOS device? When the laptop lid is closed, the display turns off, and the GPU is no longer active. The only way to maintain the connection in this case is to enable Virtual Displays in Jump Desktop.

    However, Virtual Display support is not yet available when connecting from an iOS device. Our team is actively working on adding this feature for iOS, which will resolve the issue. We expect to release the update soon, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
