Hi, Thank you for reaching out to us.

Currently, folder sharing is supported only when using Jump Desktop for Mac or Jump Desktop for iOS to connect to Windows computers over the RDP protocol.
If you are using the Fluid protocol or connecting from a Mac to another Mac, folder sharing is not available yet.
However, we are actively working on adding support for folder sharing in these scenarios in the future.

    Thanks

im seconding this:  simple file transfer is a must please.

I don't know about 'folder sharing' if that's more complicated? Not looking to sync folders etc etc, not looking for accelerated transfer speeds...

Simply looking for a basic 'ftp style' file transfer service between local and remote machine.

Doesn't even need to run in the same app (in fact for other remote access solutions it doesn't) a side program in a separate window would be fine... as long as it launched from somewhere in the the jump menus for convenience.

this is one of the most requested features from our clients when we ask them to use JUMP.... again - as I mentioned previously - doesn't need to be a complex embedded file sharing service, a simple separate ftp style program - even running as a separate service (launchable from a Jump menu) would suffice...

...running as a separate service would actually be ideal (well both options is the most ideal)! There are many occasions I want to just quickly transfer data without the need to login to the jump window/screen share.

@Abdul Ghani Madid: I am sure your intensions are fine. I take it you are familiar other similar/identical requests since 2012?

    https://support.jumpdesktop.com/discussion/1908/how-to-drag-and-drop-files-from-computers

2013: Folder sharing issues with Mac OS X, no mapped drives for RDP. https://support.jumpdesktop.com/discussion/2543/folder-sharing

2020: File transfer between local and remote machines requested. https://support.jumpdesktop.com/discussion/6642/file-transfer-osx

2021: Demand for file transfer with Fluid protocol, confirmed as planned but no ETA. https://support.jumpdesktop.com/discussion/6902/can-we-please-have-a-definitive-answer-about-file-transfers-and-fluid-if-when

    and others....

So forgive me for saying that I have a hard time believing you "are actively working on adding support or folder sharing in these scenarios in the future". Besides, I don't know what folder sharing is. I just want to be able to drag and drop a file or bundle of files.

I must admit that it is flabbergasting to me that this is a request at all. Remote connectivity without file transfer is unthinkable after the days of rsync, kermit, pcAnywhere... Its not like you need proof there is a use case...
