Routing Audio from local PC to remote Mac?

I'm editing in AVID and using a local PC and a remote MAC.

I need to do audio punch-ins. I know Jump doesn't have native support for audio from a local PC. But can you walk me through the steps of using a virtual cable?

  Are you connecting from your Mac to a Windows PC?
  If so, please install the Virtual Audio Cable on your Windows 11 machine by downloading it from this link: ttps://vb-audio.com/Cable/index.htm.
  Once installed, set the audio output on your Windows PC to use the Virtual Audio Cable
