Connect to Ubuntu
Hello,
I want to be able to remote desktop to my linux machine from my iPad. I can use VNC to remote desktop from local network, but I can't do that over the internet. I have spent 3 days trying to figure out what to do but failed every time. I tried port forwarding, SSH, VPN but nothing worked. Is there any way I could do that. I don't understand why there is not any client for Linux just for that.
I would really appreciate if somebody could help me.
Best regards.

Trying to connect to Ubuntu 22.04. Enabled Remote Desktop in Settings. I see gnome-remote-desktop is running and it is listening on port 3389 (netstat). I did set up my password in Remote Desktop. Created RDP session in JumpDesktop Version 8.9.16 (80916). When I try to connect, I get a logging screen where I provide a username and password. The session windows just quit on connect.
