Unable to connect to Raspberry Pi stretch

I've been using Jump on an iPad to connect to several Raspberry Pi's running jessie (debian 8) and xrdp 0.6.1 successfully.  However, I can't get Jump to connect on the new stretch (debian 9) OS and xrdp 0.9.1.  When I try to connect I get a "Connection error" 2.35.

If I try to connect with VNC (with the server running on the Pi), I get a "VNC Server Error", "No configured security type is supported by 3.3 VNC Viewer."  I've tried automatic and VNC password authentication.  Username and password are set.
