Unable to Copy and paste between Windows 10 PC and MacOS High Sierra 10

 I am using Jump Desktop 7.3 on a Windows 10 PC and Jump Desktop Connect 5.1.5 on and iMac using High Sierra 10.13.  When I copy a file from the PC and try to paste it on the iMac desktop, there is no option to paste.  Looking at the contents of the clipboard on the iMac, it gives the file name listed as text only.  Sure enough, if I open a document on the iMac, I can paste the file name.  I have not made a mistake and copied only the file name.  The PC will copy the actual file to another location on the PC.  This is true regardless of the type of file.  I've tried it with a Word docx file and an mp3 sound file, both small in size.  Anybody got any ideas?
