Change .localdomain name!
AnsweredWhenever I create a new account on a new computer with JumpDesktop it always generates some strange computer name, even if I change the name within the System Preferences.
The latest one is Zarias-iPhone.localdomain which makes no since as this was a iMac, not an iPhone. Also, I don't know who Zaria is!
I've gone into System Preferences, and changed the name within the "Sharing" panel. After that, I logged out of Jump Desktop and logged back in. Still the same. I also uninstalled then re-installed JumpDesktop and still got the same results! Please advise!

Hi,
1. You can rename the computer on your iPhone by tapping the blue i icon next to the name and editing the top row. Thats the first thing you can do to fix this.
2. Our upcoming Jump Desktop Connect 6.0 also lets you rename the computer permanently (with the above step, it will only be renamed on your iPhone). You'll be able to do this by clicking the settings icon and then in General Settings you can rename your computer. At the time of writing, 5.1.5 is the latest Jump Desktop Connect release - however you can update to Jump Desktop Connect 6.0 by opening up Jump Desktop Connect on your iMac, click the settings icon and then click Updates, make sure Beta Updates is checked and then click Check for updates.
