Trying to resize columns of host list in detail display

This is the Mac client v7.1.4. I'm sure I could do this before...the columns in the detail list display of hosts is maddeningly fixed at about 1.25" width, hiding most of the information with "..."s. There's no obvious resize (nor sort) which there used to be. I cannot find anything in preferences. What am I missing?
