Keep MAC Screen locked and hidden while connecting from iOS?

I have begun using the app for iOS quite a bit and am impressed. However, I am wondering if it’s possible to keep the Mac screen locked and off when connecting remotely from iOS? I know there was a post two years ago about this and there was a sort of workaround by using the login switcher screen, but is this a now a native feature at all?

One issue I have found with the solution of using the login switcher is that I no longer receive audio using that method. There is also more lag in my use
