How to set up Folder Sharing between local Mac and remote Mac?

Looks like this question has been asked a lot but there are no answers as far as I can tell. 

For my local device, under Jump Desktop -> Preferences -> Folder Sharing, I added a folder. 

Then I went to right click on the icon for my remote device (currently not connected) and clicked Edit, then sharing, and there are no further prompts for folder sharing. 

Sharing files between remote and local is easy with Chrome Remote Desktop; I had assumed it would be easy with Jump  Desktop.

Overall I like Jump better, but file sharing is a super important feature too.
