Welp, it's been 5 months since I posted this.  And no responses from ANYONE?

The 4k display option shows up on the menu at the top, but will not select.  Is this an iPadOS issue?  Or is this is a Jump Desktop issue?

Hi- I have a 12 South Stay Go hub that is also supposed to support 4K HDMI but I had the same issue as you, Jump Desktop wouldn't allow me to choose the higher resolution. I don't use the hub at all, I connect the ipad to an ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor via USB-C. That allows me to get the max resolution on Jump Desktop and power to iPad. If anyone knows how to get this to work over HDMI please let us know. Thanks.

We all have this issue - try getting in touch with the devs, maybe they've figured something out since I last spoke with them :)

I could also only get it to work with 1440p and less. I bet there's a USB-C to DP converter built into that display, BTW :)

On my iPad Pro m1 12.9, I can get 2560x1440 on an external monitor. I can't get the native 3840x2160, even though apple TV manages 3840x2160 on the same setup.

Any updates on this topic? I am connecting an iPad Air 4th Gen through an external monitor using Apple's USB-C HDMI dongle.

    iPad Air 4th Gen supports 3840x2160 @30Hz.

Jump Desktop only offers up to 2560x1440 @60Hz for the external monitor resolution. There is an entry for 3840x2160, but it cannot be ticked.

It would be great if Jump Desktop could support 3840x2160 @30Hz, since the hardware allows this.
