Windows asking for credentials?
I've been usuing my Teams account to connect to my Windows 11 PC. Everything has been working great until today. Suddenly, it's asking for my Windows credentials when I try to log in.
Did something change? I've had it set to auto login with my PIN forever. But now the PIN doesn't work. I've seen some other posts saying I need to add a password to my Windows account. If that's so, why has the PIN been working until today?
Any help appreciated.

Hi, Thank you for reaching out to us.
If you're connecting to a Windows computer, you may be asked to enter your Windows credentials before the connection is established.
Please make sure to enter the username and password you use to log into your PC when you first turn it on or restart it.
For security reasons, Jump Desktop does not allow logins to accounts that don't have a password set.
So if your Windows account doesn’t currently have a password, you'll need to create one before you can connect remotely.
Also, if you normally log into your PC using a Windows PIN, please note that the PIN will not work in this case. Instead, you’ll need to assign a password to your Windows account. You can do this by going to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options on your PC, and setting a password under the Password section.

Hi Kitfox,
Are you using your Microsoft Account when logging in to the Windows machine?
If so, kindly follow these steps:- Sign in to your Microsoft account Additional security options.
- Under Passwordless account, select Turn off and then Next.
- Follow the prompts to add a password back to your account.
After adding the password to your Microsoft Account, kindly use the password on the Windows Credentials dialog.
Thank you
