Alternatives that support audio input from iPad

The refusal to improve audio input for iPad users and the refusal to even acknowledge 5 years' worth of requests for it is becoming a deal breaker for me: https://support.jumpdesktop.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360068134891-No-microphone-support

These are accessibility barriers that are no longer worth it to me to finagle around.

I would love recommendations of a product that is actually fully operational with regard to audio input and output. I use a Mac and an iPad, but they are not in range for the built-in solution to work.

You’re absolutely right to raise this. We’re aware that audio input, dictation, and related accessibility features have been missing for a long time, and we apologize for the delay.

This hasn’t been ignored. Our team is actively working on adding audio input and dictation support when connecting from an iPhone to a Mac in a future update. While we don’t have a timeline to share yet, it’s on our roadmap.
