After Effects scroll wheel issue

I'm having an issue when using after effects with my remote desktop. When I use my middle mouse scroll wheel in AE the composition should only zoom in/out where the cursor is located. It is zooming but also moving to the left and right when using the remote connection. This is happening on multiple versions of after effects. Here's a link to a video comparison. Any solution?
