Audio from PC at home to Mac Laptop, half working, not at all in Premiere

Hi all. I've seen a couple of posts about this but nothing directly the same as mine. I set this up on my pc tower and i am accessing it from my mac laptop. It's great. Really fast and awesome. I tried to do a quicklook test and play something back, played right away! Cool! Didn't bother to check premiere. Upon opening up premiere, i can't get it to play audio back. 

Premiere on the PC is currently set up with ASIO drivers. I tried switching to MME, but that didn't work, and upon trying to start up the program again it was hanging. Not sure what to try next here.

  Same issue, audio and playback in general—only in premiere—is very stuttery and laggy. I'm guessing we're not getting a response at this point...
